Wu Tai Shan Mountain

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Wutaishan is home to many of China's most important monasteries and temples and is one of the Four Sacred Mountains in Chinese Buddhism. With five rounded peaks, it is notable not only for its religious aspect, but also for its exquisite natural scenery. Among the five peaks, the North one is the highest, and indeed the highest point in northern China.
